Ice Skating is becoming more and more popular in Ireland and new ice skating rinks are opening up all around the country featuring ice skating, ice hockey and ice dancing for all ages. Whilst most open just for the Christmas period, there are some that are now open all-year round, although mainly using synthetic ice. Dundrum’s first ever Ice Rink, Dundrum On Ice and Dublin’s favourite ice rink is now in it’s 5th year and has now become a permanent fixture every Christmas in the Pembroke Square district in Dundrum Town Centre. The main rink at Dundrum on Ice consists of 450sqm of real ice.
