Paragliding in Ireland may be the most eco-friendly way of seeing Ireland from above.
There are several popular training sites in Ireland, three of them fairly near to Dublin are Black Hill, east of the Blessington Reservoir and above the village of Lacken (County Wicklow); Lough Bray at the top of the Glencree Valley (County Wicklow); and Mount Leinster in County Wexford. For experienced paragliders the sky is the limit. Ireland will provide any number of suitable spots to enjoy the sport, though the Atlantic coast may prove to be too much of a challenge. Paragliding is a form of aviation with all of the inherent and potential dangers that are involved in aviation.
Tandemskydive is the only dedicated Tandem Parachute Centre in Ireland. This means they can fully concentrate on you, making your experience a day never to be forgotten. They specialise in Arrive & Jump (no need to book weeks in advance) Stag & Hen weekends, Jump on the Friday or Saturday, and Supporting many Irish Charities through our Charity Tandem Skydives.
Xtreme Spots is the web – child of a group of people, some of us young, others wiser… What brings them together is the love they share for extreme sports and our passion to “drop a pin” on every Xtreme Spot on the map! Bray is the fourth largest city in Ireland and it is located approximately 20 km/12 mi south of Dublin, on the east coast.
Paraglide Adventure Irl is the oldest established paragliding school and currently the only full time training facility in the country. This means that they are available to teach whenever the wind and weather are suitable and not just on weekends.
